History is Hott!!—Palmer House Hotel, Chicago

Enjoy lunch and a tour of the historic Palmer House, with an insider’s view of the ballrooms, lobby and artifacts. Lunch includes a salad, entrée, brownie and glass of wine ‘to go,’ followed by a lecture, tour and treat. The entrée option will be announced closer to the event. AARP Driver Safety Course

Sharpen your driving skills with a two-day class, geared towards drivers age 50 and older. Review rules of
the road and safe vehicle operation, and learn about normal, age-related physical changes. Drivers who
complete the course may qualify for a discount on car insurance. Preregistration is required.

Have you ever wanted to act or perform on stage? Here’s your chance—join us to present the classical
musical, Oliver! at the Northbrook Theatre. Come to an audition in clothes that you can dance in, and be prepared to read excerpts from the musical and sing a song of your choice. Bring sheet music. (If you can’t, you are welcome to sing without piano accompaniment.) There is no cost to audition. The cast fee is $149 resident/$199 non-resident.
