As a student of Pilates, Cindy gained so much that she decided to share the benefits with others by becoming an instructor. She has been teaching Mat Pilates since 2005 and received her certifications from the Physical Mind Institute and Balanced Body University.

“Pilates is the key to aging well and staying healthy.”

Margaret has been teaching Nia since 2005, drawing from her early student experience with ballet and jazz dance, as well as 4+ years of Taekwondo training in Evanston, where she earned a rank of Black Stripe. She is proud to have served the American Parkinson Disease Association as guest presenter of the Nia Technique at two annual conferences.

Margaret also is a Balanced Body® Pilates Mat Instructor and is excited to add a beginning-level Pilates class to her teaching schedule.

“Mindful movement feeds my soul and provides a beautiful path towards health, happiness and community involvement I think so many of us long for. My classes offer a guts-and-grace approach to fitness that is caring, empowering and effective, yet easily adaptable to students of all fitness levels.”

Maxine is known for the passion, experience and caring attitude she brings to Yoga. She’s been teaching at the Northbrook Park District for more than 25 years and calls it “a wonderful experience.”

After years with a serious back problem, Maxine took a Yoga class, and that ended her back problem. She started practicing Yoga more than 30 years ago and is certified by ACE, American Council on Exercise, and Yoga Alliance.

“Yoga is my vocation and avocation.”

Natalia always had a passion for dance and discovered Zumba in 2010 and fell in love with it. Zumba has helped her become strong, healthy, fit, enthusiastic, confident, easygoing and full of energy!

In 2012, she decided to share her passion for Zumba and became licensed as a Zumba, Zumba Gold and Zumba Toning instructor. She also is a certificated Group Fitness Instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and CPR/AED trained.

”I promise you the most joyful, fun, yet tons-of-calories-burning workout!”

My love of music and dancing led me to my first Zumba fitness class, and Zumba has kept me 30 pounds lighter and more fit. I love teaching Zumba, because it gives me an outlet to be creative and to extend my support and encouragement to others. As a health care provider, I can't think of a better way to exercise and have fun at the same time. Join me in a friendly environment, and move to great music with my guidance. I look forward to seeing you in class.
