Public Skate
Several times during the week, regular public skating sessions are held at the Sports Center. Skating is family-style. See below for days and times.

Cosmic Skate
Join us on Friday nights for cool fun on the ice, as the Northbrook Sports Center dazzles visitors with cosmic skating. We turn down the regular lights at the rink and turn up the mood with theatrical lighting, special effects and a DJ playing the hits. Skaters can chill on the ice from 8-10pm most Friday nights from October through mid-April. See below for schedule and prices. Recommended for grades 6-12. Rental skates are available for $3 per pair.

Several times during the year, themed cosmic events are held (including Halloween and Valentine’s Day Cosmic Skating and a Pre-New Year’s Eve Cosmic Celebration).
