Park Board Changes
The Northbrook Park Board of Commissioners has elected new officers to serve a two-year term. Michael Schyman is the new President, and Penelope J. Randel is the new Vice-President; Randel has served on the Board since 1993, and Schyman was elected in 2009.
The Northbrook Park District welcomes Kenneth Slepicka, a retired engineer and the newest member of the Park Board, who was sworn into office on May 27, following his election in April. He joins Commissioners Mary Ann Chambers, Jeffrey Simon, Michael Ziering and Paul Zima on the Board.
The District thanks Commissioner Ziering, who has served as Board President for three years, and thanks Steven Cloh for his service to the community. Cloh was elected Commissioner in 2003 and served three terms on the Park Board.
