Sportsman’s Country Club Practice Range continues to be a favorite among North Shore residents.
For a third consecutive year, Sportsman’s Practice Range at 3535 Dundee Road has been voted best in the 22nd Century Media North Shore Choice readers’ poll.
“We’re excited to kick off the 2019 season with this recognition from North Shore residents,” Director of Golf Greg Baron said. “We’re proud of our staff and PGA Professionals who deliver an enjoyable experience to the golfers practicing at our public range. It truly is an honor to have the readers choose us as the best in the area for the third time.”
Among amenities at the range are 30 hitting stations, new Pinnacle practice range balls put into play every season, 12 targets ranging from 50 to 200 yards and a lighted facility for evening play.
Sportsman’s is home to Northbrook Golf Academy, led by top PGA instructors and offering a Golf Development Program for youth and adults. Clinics and Summer Camps are available, including a new Girls Golf camp.
Open the entire 2019 season, Sportsman’s also provides TrackMan club fitting to improve ball speed and distance. Sportsman’s features include a scenic 18-hole and 9-hole course, mini golf, clubhouse, pro shop, putting greens and chipping areas.
