Save the date to attend this event to learn about Plein Air style painting, participate in artistic activites for the whole family, talk with artists, and view or purchase a work of art yourself.
Participate in artist workshops: Embrace the beauty of the natural landscapes of Northbrook parks as you learn the techniques and joys of painting en plein air, or in the open air. This immersive workshop is designed for artists of all levels, from beginners seeking inspiration to seasoned painters eager to capture the essence of the world around them. Creative works will be displayed during the fall Northbrook Plein Air event.

For Artists:
All artists ages 18 and older are invited to paint the splendor of nature found in this beautiful community park in Northbrook, Illinois. This premier outdoor area features over 100 acres of natural prairie, serene trails, active athletic fields, a golf course, Anetsberger Pond and fishing areas. Register for this weekend event to capture the beauty of nature “En Plein Air.” In addition to the painting, this event will feature an informational meeting, exhibit, and reception with art sales at the Prairie Room of Techny Prairie Activity Center. Artist will be able to submit two pieces to the competition. Cash awards will be given for First, Second, Third, and multiple Honorable Mentions. Artist packets with full event details will be available on June 4.
