Techny Prairie Activity Center (TPAC) is a sustainable and energy-efficient facility featuring a 6,000 square foot fitness floor with cardio, strength and functional fitness equipment, two group fitness studios, an indoor walking track (8 laps to a mile) and a gymnasium with open gym times.
The TPAC group fitness schedule offers over 30 classes each week that are included with membership, and the Les Mills BODYPUMP™ program has now been added to the extensive list of fitness options.
Les Mills BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout designed to get participants lean, toned and fit. The combination of scientifically-backed moves, motivating instructors and great music helps you achieve much more than you would on your own. The effectiveness of BODYPUMP™ comes from “The Rep Effect,” a proven formula that exhausts muscles using light weights while performing high repetitions – the secret to developing lean, athletic muscle.
The official launch of BODYPUMP™ on the TPAC regular group fitness schedule will take place during the week of February 21. Prior to the official launch, a selection of sneak peek express classes and technique clinics will be offered. The introductory Sneak Peek Classes and Technique Clinics are free for both members and non-members. Pre-registration is recommended for non-members. Non-members should visit the registration desk at TPAC to reserve their spot.

These sneak peek classes provide a quick orientation followed by an express class for an introduction to the BODYPUMP™ experience!

Technique Clinics – 25-minute BODYPUMP™TECHNIQUE REVIEW CLINICS
These technique clinics are perfect for those who might be nervous about performing barbell training correctly and safely. These short clinics will introduce the equipment used in class along with a review of unfamiliar or complex exercises while providing participants with the opportunity to become familiar with the logistics of barbell training.
