At 6:30 p.m., the Parents Choice award winning Istvan and His Imaginary Band will present a wonderfully memorable rock concert the whole family will enjoy. Fun is at the core of Istvan’s shows, but underneath his cleverly crafted songs little lessons are being taught, and all kinds of awesome opportunities to participate are being offered.
At 7:15 p.m., join Chicago’s Rhythm Rockets who have been a mainstay of the Chicago music scene since 1996, delivering 100+ shows a year. With their unique brand of vintage rhythm & blues, the Rhythm Rockets’ performances celebrate the diversity of music for which Chicago is famous. The Rhythm Rockets are backed by three saxophones, upright bass, drums and guitar.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors to the Northbrook Theatre located at inside the Northbrook Park District Leisure Center, 3323 Walters Ave. Please note, alcoholic beverages are prohibited at this event. Dogs are prohibited during park events per Northbrook ordinance.
